Tysons, Va. – LMI’s Board of Directors today announced that Dave Zolet, President and CEO of LMI, will resign from the company to pursue a new opportunity. Zolet is replaced immediately on an interim basis by LMI’s Chief Growth Officer, Brian Fitzpatrick.
LMI Board Chairman Ken Krieg made the announcement to LMI employees. “Dave has helped put LMI on the right trajectory, from business fundamentals to growth to developing a very strong and diverse leadership team,” said Krieg. “LMI is well positioned, thanks to Dave’s leadership, for the foreseeable future. I’d like to thank him for his dedication to our customers’ missions and all LMI employees the last two and a half years. I wish him well in his new and exciting endeavor.”
“Brian Fitzpatrick has been key to LMI’s tremendous growth over the last two years, enabling the execution of strategies to win new business to serve our customers in the federal government,” Mr. Krieg said. “Brian will ensure a seamless transition and the Board looks forward to his contribution to LMI’s continued success.” Prior to LMI, Fitzpatrick held executive leadership positions at companies including DXC Technology and Northrop Grumman. The Board will conduct a search for the permanent President and CEO.
