Russian Deputy Defence Minister Alexey Krivoruchko outlined Russia’s military build-up in an interview with the Russian Ministry of Defence’s (MoD’s) newspaper Krasnaya Zvezda (Red Star) on 28 December.
He told the newspaper that the MoD has received its first S-350 Vityaz-PVO air defence system (ADS). “The first serial production S-350 ADS has already been shipped to the troops, and the State Armament Programme foresees deliveries of Vityaz-PVO systems through to 2027,” said Krivoruchko, adding that the S-350 underwent state trials in July.
