Russia will supply several Middle East countries with Rezonans-NE over-the-horizon radars, the TASS news agency cited a military-diplomatic source as saying on 1 October.

The source did not identify the customers but said the radars would be delivered within 12–18 months.

The Rezonans-NE is a fixed station with large antenna arrays that can detect all types of aircraft and missiles over very long ranges.

Iran has unveiled several stations that look like the Rezonans-NE and may have been built with Russian assistance.

It was reported in September 2017 that Algeria was operating Rezonans-NEs but this has yet to be confirmed.
