Australian company DroneShield - a specialist in counter-unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) technologies - has signed an agreement with Collins Aerospace, a subsidiary of United Technologies, to co-operate on sales opportunities in Australia and export markets.
Sydney-based DroneShield said on 6 June that under the memorandum of understanding (MOU) the two companies will collaborate on integrating DroneShield's counter-drone capabilities into Collins Aerospace surveillance systems.
A statement said the MOU will put emphasis on "adding DroneShield's counter-drone capabilities to customers already utilising the broader surveillance systems produced by Collins Aerospace".
In December 2018 DroneShield also entered a partnership with Thales to the export of its products to Spain and other global customers.
