China State Shipbuilding Corporation (CSSC) and China Poly Group Corporation have signed an agreement to collaborate on naval exports opportunities, it has been announced. Under the long-term accord, the state-owned enterprises will explore opportunities to integrate military technologies and capabilities in international markets.
China’s State Administration for Science, Technology and Industry for National Defense (SASTIND) said on 10 May that the collaboration will aim to support the Chinese government’s One Belt One Road (OBOR) strategy to deepen economic links with developing regions.
The two corporations will also work together in commercial markets and investment, and seek to maximise opportunities for civil-military integration, added SASTIND.
