Turkey’s Makina ve Kimya Endüstrisi Kurumu (MKEK) is internally developing a family of four remote weapon stations (RWSs) that it expects to send through company trials soon.

The smallest of these is a 5.56 mm Ultralight RWS that is being marketed with and without a stabilisation system, and weighs 32 kg without ammunition. Traverse is electric through 360° and elevation is also electric from -15 to 55°. It is run from a host platform’s 28 V power supply. The ammunition box is on the left and the sensor pod on the right, which includes a low-light day TV camera stated to have a day and night capability.
