US Navy (USN) leaders are calling on industry and academia to pitch their manoeuvre, logistics, and force protection ideas and technologies for an upcoming Advanced Navy Technology Exercise (ANTX).

During 8 May expeditionary forces panel at this year's Navy League conference, Rear Admiral James Kilby, the director of warfare integration, called on industry, academia, and other development organisations to come forward and propose technologies for the ANTX slated to take place in mid-July at Camp Lejeune, North Carolina.

"The best athletes in those exercises compete for some dollars that we can align to them quickly, and [then] expand and demonstrate that capability," Rear Adm Kilby told the audience.
