South Korean company Hyundai-Rotem and Turkey's FNSS Savunma Sistemleri (FNSS) have announced plans to collaborate on offering the latter's Otter Armoured Amphibious Assault Bridge (AAAB) vehicle to meet the Republic of Korea Army's (RoKA's) requirement for an amphibious bridge and ferry system.

In a 4 May statement FNSS said that the two companies will team up to offer an undisclosed number of vehicles for evaluation by the Ministry of National Defense (MND) in Seoul.

If awarded the contract, Hyundai Rotem would be the prime contractor and FNSS would provide a technology transfer. The 8×8 vehicles would be produced in South Korea to maximise localisation of production by including as many South Korean subcontractors as possible.
